From Waste to Wealth: Georgia's bio-factory for agricultural waste

Intelligent reuse of agricultural waste: The "Waste2Wealth" project aims to identify underutilised by-products and side streams and their recycling routes. This will be achieved through an international exchange of knowledge and experience.

The project is part of the BMUV's Environmental Protection Export Initiative and aims to increase the underutilised potential of agricultural residues in Georgia through international knowledge and experience transfer.
The main task of inter 3 is to develop a digital training programme that provides permanent access to German know-how and innovative technologies and promotes future exchanges between German companies and Georgian partners.

Creating new knowledge

After two years, the aim is to develop a digital training programme based on the train-of-trainer (ToT) approach, in which Georgian experts can learn from German experts. Detailed training courses with videos and 360-degree photos will be created, produced by Inter 3 and made available online in the "Digital Learning House". A promotional container in Georgia will showcase key German technologies that can be tried out on the spot.

Working together to develop new solutions

The result will be a white paper. It will contain information about the market, ideas for the introduction of bio-product lines and technical and organisational requirements for the recycling of residual materials. The whitebook will serve as a basis for technology transfer and future cooperation between Germany and Georgia in this field. inter 3 is supporting this process by creating a digital concept tailored to the target group.
